Is SecureThing really secure?
Yes, SecureThing uses military-grade AES-256 encryption to protect all your files and passwords. The app works completely offline, meaning your data never leaves your device. We don't collect any personal information and there are no backdoors.
What happens if I forget my password?
For security reasons, we cannot recover your password as all encryption keys are derived from it. However, you can set up biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) as a backup login method in the app settings.
Does the app work on all Android devices?
SecureThing works on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and above. Biometric authentication requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later. The app is optimized for both phones and tablets.
Can I access my files from another device?
Since SecureThing works offline for maximum security, your files are only accessible on the device where they're stored. For cross-device access, you would need to manually export encrypted files and import them on another device.
